Lifepoint Health is hiring a Director, Managed Care Contracting, who will administer, coordinate, and negotiate managed care agreements for LifePoint Health's Managed Care Contracting Group [21]. The director will maintain relationships with insurance companies, employers, brokers, TPAs, and other key purchasers of health care as assigned by Managed Care leadership. They will also monitor and analyze the cost and revenue impact of payer policy changes [21].

Ascension Saint Thomas and Lifepoint Rehabilitation received state approval for the construction of a new rehabilitation hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee [13]. David Stark, the chief operating officer of Lifepoint Rehabilitation, stated that this decision affirms the community's need for specialized rehabilitation care in central Tennessee [13]. The new facility will allow them to care for more medically complex rehabilitation patients locally in a facility designed for their recovery [13]. Lifepoint Rehabilitation will manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital upon completion [13]. The partners also operate Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital in Nashville [13].

PeaceHealth and Lifepoint Rehabilitation received state regulatory approval to construct a 67,000-square foot inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Vancouver [19]. The stand-alone building, featuring 50 inpatient beds, will be located at 3400 Main Street, Vancouver, at the site of the closed PeaceHealth Memorial Urgent Care [19]. Demolition is expected in the fall, with the new facility projected to be completed by mid-year 2027 [19]. Upon completion, PeaceHealth Southwest will shift its 14 existing beds to the new facility, increasing access to inpatient rehabilitation services in the region [19]. The hospital will be majority-owned by PeaceHealth through a joint venture with Lifepoint Rehabilitation [19]. Lifepoint Rehabilitation will manage the facility's daily operations [19]. This new PeaceHealth facility will join Lifepoint Rehabilitation's network of over 45 inpatient rehabilitation facilities nationwide [19]. Cherelle Montanye, PeaceHealth Southwest Chief Hospital Executive, stated that this construction helps ensure they meet the community's needs without requiring them to travel out of the area for care [19].
