Arlington-based Texas Health Resources is among the investors participating in a $6.7 million seed funding round for ArcheHealth, a healthcare AI startup. ArcheHealth is developing a healthcare operational intelligence platform with the goal of reducing costs and improving efficiency in healthcare. According to John Whiteley, senior vice president of financial planning, analysis, and ambulatory operations for Texas Health, the health system has been seeking a technology-driven method for process improvement. He expressed confidence that the solution offered by ArcheHealth will be developed into a tool that meets Texas Health's needs. Texas Health is involved as both an investor and a client and is committed to assisting in the development of this tool to enhance operational and clinical efficiency.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville has enhanced its surgical capabilities with the addition of a surgical robot. The hospital recently completed its first robotic-assisted surgery in a newly expanded operating room. This technology allows physicians on the hospital's medical staff to perform minimally invasive procedures locally in Erath County. The addition of the surgical robot represents an advancement in the technological resources available at Texas Health Stephenville, aiming to provide patients with access to advanced surgical techniques closer to home.

Texas Health Care at Home, an innovative program delivering hospital-level clinical care directly to patients' residences, has expanded its service area. The program is now available to eligible patients residing within a 25-mile radius of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake. This expansion builds upon the initial launch of the Care at Home service by Texas Health in 2022. The Care at Home model leverages technology and in-home care teams to provide acute-level care outside of a traditional hospital setting, aiming to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and offer high-quality care in the comfort of a patient's home.
