Unionized physicians from six Legacy Health hospitals in Oregon and Washington held a news conference to discuss yearlong stalled contract negotiations and issues affecting patient care [8]. Legacy Health agreed to pay a $1.25 million fine for repeatedly violating Oregon's meal and rest break rules and pledges to comply with the law in the future [10, 11].
