Their economic proposal included maintaining the 2024 raise of 4.75%, adding a 10% raise in October 2025, and a further 4% raise in October 2026, aiming to make Legacy wages competitive. They also proposed maintaining the current LSI rate and APL accrual rate with the removal of accrual caps, increasing differentials to be competitive, and limiting health insurance premium increases to 4% annually. The ONA expressed that they have significantly trimmed their proposals and hope Legacy will be reasonable in their counter-proposals expected on June 19th. The bargaining team believes a strike this summer may be necessary to achieve a fair contract and has set a potential strike date for September 1, 2025, coordinating with other Legacy unions.

Legacy Health has sent a letter to patients with Cigna insurance informing them about ongoing contract negotiations. Legacy Health's current contract with Cigna is set to terminate on June 30, 2025, if a new agreement is not reached.
