Joyce M. Tamori

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Joyce M. Tamori is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC), a position she has held since 2023. She has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to her role at HHSC, she was the VP, Special Projects, MHS at Kaiser Permanente from September 2022 to June 2023 and VP, CFO - MHS at Maui Health from March 2017 to September 2022. Tamori also held various positions at Hale Makua Health Services, including Chief Financial Officer from September 2010 to March 2017, CFO In Training from April 2010 to September 2010, and Director of Financial Services from March 2003 to April 2010. She began her career as an Audit Senior at Ernst & Young from January 2000 to March 2003. Joyce Tamori earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Hawai'i - Shidler College of Business between 1995 and 1999. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. In 2016, she was recognized as a member of Pacific Business News' 40 Under 40 class. She also serves on the Board of Directors at Hale Mahaolu.

Andrea Suzuki

Vice President and General Counsel

Andrea Suzuki serves as the Vice President and General Counsel at Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC). In this role, she is responsible for leading the in-house legal department, which includes managing the corporate director of risk management, a team of attorneys, and legal support staff. Suzuki provides legal counsel and healthcare risk management services for Hawaii's state-owned healthcare system and its affiliated facilities, such as acute care hospitals, critical access hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient and urgent care clinics. She advises the HHSC board of directors, president and chief executive officer, and other executives on a wide range of legal and strategic business matters, including the interpretation of federal and state healthcare laws, fraud and abuse, privacy, employment, and procurement. Prior to her current position, Suzuki served as general counsel for the transfer of management and operation of Maui Memorial Medical Center, Kula Hospital, and Lanai Community Hospital from HHSC to Maui Health Systems. She also held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for HHSC. Her background also includes experience in the attorney general's office, where she was involved in analyzing legislation and facilitating collaboration with legislators.

Juanita Lauti

Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Juanita Lauti serves as the Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC).
