Bo Boulenger

President and Chief Executive Officer

Bo Boulenger is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Baptist Health South Florida, with over 35 years of experience in healthcare administration, all spent with the organization. He began his tenure in 1985 at South Miami Hospital in strategic planning. His career progressed through leadership roles, including serving as CEO of Homestead Hospital for 12 years and CEO of Baptist Hospital of Miami for another 12 years. Prior to becoming President and CEO on October 1, 2022, succeeding Brian E. Keeley, he held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Baptist Health South Florida. Boulenger holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and a master's degree in healthcare administration from Washington University in St. Louis. His interest in healthcare administration was influenced by his father, who was also a hospital administrator. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in overseeing major expansion projects and has been recognized with accolades such as "Ultimate CEO" and "Power Leader" in Healthcare by the South Florida Business Journal. His experience also includes leading disaster preparedness efforts and integrating new hospitals into the Baptist Health system. Boulenger is actively involved in various industry boards and committees, including the Florida Hospital Association's Board of Trustees.

Glenn Waters

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Glenn Waters is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Baptist Health South Florida, a position he assumed effective October 31, 2022. In this role, he is responsible for the operations of Baptist Health's 12 hospitals, over 200 outpatient centers, urgent care centers, and physician practices, as well as several specialty institutes. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Waters spent 15 years at BayCare Health System in Clearwater, Florida. His roles at BayCare included Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since 2016, President of BayCare's Hospital Division from 2013 to 2016, and President of Morton Plant Mease Health Care from 2008 to 2013. He has also held leadership positions at Moses Cone Health System in Greensboro, North Carolina, Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas, and Riverside Health System in Newport News, Virginia. Waters holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and a Master of Hospital Administration from Medical College of Virginia (VCU). He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on the boards of organizations such as the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation, United Way Suncoast, and Eckerd Connects.

Matthew Arsenault

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Matthew Arsenault is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Baptist Health South Florida. He joined Baptist Health in 2006 and has held various roles within the organization for over 18 years. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing the finance division, which includes accounting, financial planning and analytics, risk management, revenue cycle, supply chain, and the treasury team. Prior to becoming CFO in 2018, Arsenault served as corporate vice president of Finance, managing functions such as accounting and financial reporting, affiliate finance operations, budgeting, accounts payable, and payroll. Before joining Baptist Health, he worked in public accounting for Deloitte & Touche and Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Co. Matthew Arsenault is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a master's degree in accounting from Florida International University, a master's degree in teaching from the University of Portland, and a bachelor's degree in history and economics from the College of the Holy Cross. He also holds the HFMA Certified Healthcare Financial Professional designation.

Ana Lopez-Blazquez

Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Health Enterprises

Ana Lopez-Blazquez is the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer for Baptist Health South Florida, and the Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Health Enterprises. She began her career at Baptist Hospital of Miami in 1987 as the Director of Planning and has since been instrumental in leading the strategic planning and business development for the organization. Her role encompasses strategy development and execution, with a focus on driving growth and managing the Baptist Health brand across South Florida. As Chief Transformation Officer, she is responsible for providing leadership and direction for all aspects of business transformation. Before her time at Baptist Health, Lopez-Blazquez gained experience at Orlando Regional Medical Center as an administrative resident and worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida as a Medicare compliance auditor and supervisor. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Health Science from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida International University.

Joe Natoli

Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

Joe Natoli is the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Baptist Health South Florida. David Friedman

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

David Friedman is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Baptist Health South Florida, where he has served since 2000. He has held several positions within the organization, including senior corporate attorney, associate general counsel, and corporate vice president and general counsel. Prior to joining Baptist Health, he was an attorney at Shands HealthCare from 1999 to 2000. Friedman earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida in 1995 and a Master of Public Health in Health Care Administration/Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. Ana Lopez-Blazquez is the Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer for Baptist Health South Florida, and concurrently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Health Enterprises, the system's for-profit subsidiary. She began her tenure at Baptist Hospital of Miami in 1987 as the Director of Planning, and has since overseen strategic planning and business/market development for Baptist Health. In her capacity as Chief Strategy Officer, she is responsible for the development and execution of strategy, with a focus on driving growth aligned with population health and value-based care, encompassing strategic, business, and master facility planning, market development, and property acquisitions. As Chief Transformation Officer, Lopez-Blazquez provides leadership for business transformation initiatives, including organizational design, process re-engineering, and change management, and collaborates on clinical transformation efforts. As CEO of Baptist Health Enterprises, she is responsible for all of Baptist Health's real estate assets. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Lopez-Blazquez worked at Orlando Regional Medical Center in various planning and program development roles, including completing her administrative residency there. She also spent five years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida as a Medicare compliance auditor and audit supervisor. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida International University and holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Health Science from the University of Florida. Her notable contributions at Baptist Health include leading projects such as the replacement of Homestead Hospital, the development of West Kendall Baptist Hospital and Baptist Children's Hospital, and the establishment of Baptist Medical Plazas.
