Executive Leadership

Donna C. Isgett

President and CEO

Donna Isgett, MSN, MBA, serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for McLeod Health. [9] She joined the McLeod team in 1997 and has focused on fostering a culture of system-thinking to benefit patients, physician and staff engagement, and the pursuit of clinical and service excellence throughout McLeod Health. [9] She has served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Quality and Safety at McLeod Physician Associates, and most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer, where she was responsible for oversight of administrators at all seven hospitals in the McLeod Health system. [9] In addition to her current role as President and CEO, Ms. Isgett serves as Co-Chair of the McLeod Health Quality Operations Committee and as a member of the McLeod Regional Medical Center and McLeod Loris Seacoast Community Boards. [9] In 2021, she was named a member of the Healthcare Executives Study Society (HESS). [9] She has also served as the board chair for the South Carolina Hospital Association (SCHA) since 2020. [9] Ms. Isgett has personally been honored by receiving the Milliken Medal of Quality Award, the Lewis Blackman Patient Safety Award, the Mary Dean Brewer Women of Distinction Award, and the Tribute to Women of Influence award. [9] She earned a BS in Nursing from Georgia State University, an MSN from the Medical University of South Carolina, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. [9]

C. Dale Lusk, MD

Corporate Chief Medical Officer, Senior Vice President

C. Dale Lusk, MD, is the Corporate Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President at McLeod Health. He was appointed Chief Medical Officer for McLeod Health and the McLeod Healthcare Network in November 2018, overseeing administrative and hospital staff across all seven McLeod Health hospitals. Dr. Lusk also serves as the Vice President of Physician Leadership and Development for McLeod Health. Before his current roles, he was the Vice President of Medical Services for McLeod Regional Medical Center for seven years and served as Chief of Staff for McLeod Regional Medical Center in 2012 and 2013. He has been with McLeod Physician's Associates since 1996 and continues to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology at McLeod GYN Specialists. He began his practice at McLeod Regional Medical Center in 1993 and was a partner at Adams, O'Dell, Davidson, & Lusk OB/GYN PC from 1993 to 1996. Dr. Lusk is involved in various committees at McLeod Regional Medical Center, including Quality Operations and Credentials, and has chaired the Medical Staff Executive Committee. He leads the McLeod Physicians Leadership Academy, CEO Roundtable, and the Community Board for McLeod Regional Medical Center. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Lusk is a graduate of The Citadel, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and received gold stars. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1985 and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Keesler U.S. Air Force Regional Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident. He also holds a Certificate in Managing Healthcare Delivery from The Harvard Business School. Dr. Lusk has also been involved with First Reliance Bank, serving on its Board of Directors since 1999 and as a past Chairman of the Audit Committee. He has served on the McLeod Health Board and the McLeod Regional Medical Center Community Board and is a member of numerous medical associations.

Michael Rose, MD

Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer Senior Vice President

Dr. Michael Rose is the Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer and Senior Vice President at McLeod Health. He is board certified in anesthesiology and internal medicine and continues to practice clinically with a focus on the perioperative care of patients. Dr. Rose earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1983 and completed residencies in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he also completed a fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesiology. His previous administrative roles include operational management of the surgical division and leading large-scale care safety and quality initiatives. He implemented a perioperative surgical home model and led "The Debriefing Project" to improve surgical care. Dr. Rose served as Chairman of the Leadership Team for Safe Surgery South Carolina 2015 and has been a technical expert for a national initiative on improving the safety of ambulatory surgery. He is a member of the McLeod Health Board of Trustees and chairs the committee focused on physician alignment and wellness. In 2013, he was named one of the "50 Experts Leading the Field of Patient Safety" by Becker's Hospital Review.

Ken Beasley

Senior Vice President McLeod Physician Associates

Ken Beasley, a member of the McLeod team since 2017, has been appointed to lead operations of McLeod Physician Associates as Senior Vice President. [10] Beasley has decades of experience in leadership development, with physician leadership responsibilities at Palmetto Health, Tenet, and Providence prior to joining McLeod. [10]

Matt Reich

Chief Information Officer Senior Vice President

Matt Reich is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Senior Vice President at McLeod Health. He is a healthcare executive with extensive experience in healthcare administration and management, specializing in information systems management and telehealth operations. Reich has been a key figure in advancing telehealth initiatives and network operations at McLeod Health. His professional journey at McLeod Health includes serving as the Associate Vice President of Telehealth and Network Operations and earlier as the Director of Telehealth Operations. Before joining McLeod Health, he held roles at Pinnacle Network Solutions and ESAB, focusing on network management and IT service delivery. Reich holds a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management of Information Systems from Francis Marion University. He oversees the Information Technology and Biomedical divisions at McLeod Health.

Octavia Williams-Blake

Chief Human Resources Officer

Octavia Williams-Blake is the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at McLeod Health in Florence, South Carolina, a position she has held since 2021, and has been with McLeod Health since 2002. Prior to becoming CHRO, she was the Vice President, Workplace Health & Safety. Before joining McLeod Health in 2002, she worked in Human Resources for Sony Electronics in Park Ridge, NJ, and Pepsi Bottling Group in Atlanta, GA. Octavia Williams-Blake is a graduate of South Florence High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, in Public Affairs & History from Columbia College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She also holds an HR Executive certification from Harvard's Business School. Beyond her corporate roles, Williams-Blake served 12 years on the Florence City Council, being the first African American elected at large and the first female elected since 1953. She is a Liberty Fellow, a graduate of Furman University's Diversity Institute, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. She has also served as President of the South Carolina Municipal Association. She currently serves on the boards of Antum Risk, First Reliance Bank, and Trinity Collegiate School. She is also a panel member for the Commission on Lawyer Conduct. She is a former board member of Science South and Florence Young Professionals.

Lesli McGee

Chief Strategy Officer

Lesli McGee is the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, Continuum of Care at McLeod Health. She was honored with the 2023 Mary Dean Brewer Women of Distinction award for her professional accomplishments, service to others, and impact on the community. This award recognizes women who exemplify excellence through professional achievements and community volunteerism, serving as strong role models. Prior to this role, she was referenced as Senior Vice President, Continuum of Care at McLeod Health. Lesli McGee is also listed as a contact for McLeod Health on the Operations and Supply Chain Center advisory board for the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She was a panelist at the "SHE Stories - Real Talk from Women Who Lead" event organized by the Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce.

Fulton Ervin

Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President

Fulton Ervin is the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at McLeod Health. He joined McLeod Health in August 1997 as Controller, was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in March 2007, and has served as Senior Vice President of Finance since February 2010. In his role, he is responsible for areas including Accounting & Finance, Business Services, Managed Care, Occupational Medicine, Payroll, Workers Compensation, Procurement Services, Real Estate, Registration, Reservations & Scheduling, Construction, Grounds Maintenance, Engineering, and Telecommunications. Jumana Swindler is the Vice President of Communications & Public Information at McLeod Health.
