Barbara Wadsworth, DNP, MBA, RN, FAAN, FNAP, FACHE, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Main Line Health, bringing nearly 40 years of healthcare and nursing experience to her role. She joined Main Line Health in 2012 as Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer and assumed her current position in October 2020. In this capacity, she provides leadership and operational oversight for hospital and ambulatory operations across the Main Line Health system. Her responsibilities include collaborating with hospital and medical staff leadership to ensure high standards of patient care, promoting clinician and patient satisfaction, and overseeing cost-effective care delivery and integrated clinical programs. Prior to her time at Main Line Health, Wadsworth held positions at other healthcare institutions. She was a member of the nursing leadership team at Abington Memorial Hospital, serving as Chief Nursing Officer from 2006 to 2012. Before that, she was the director of nursing at Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia and a nursing supervisor/critical care staff nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Quakertown. Wadsworth's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Russell Sage College, a Master's degree in Nursing Administration from Old Dominion University, a Master's degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Vanderbilt University. She holds several professional certifications and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a Fellow in the National Academies of Practice. She is also a 2009 Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow and has completed the national Baldrige Executive Fellowship. Throughout her career at Main Line Health, Wadsworth has been recognized for her leadership in various initiatives, including guiding the nursing staff through Epic implementation, achieving successive Systemwide Magnet designations, and leading the Performance Excellence 2020 journey. She has also been involved in efforts to improve patient experience, safety, quality, equity, and affordability.
Leigh Ehrlich, MBA, CPA, CHFP, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Main Line Health, joining the system in 2023. She is responsible for all financial and treasury matters for Main Line Health's operations and subsidiaries, including revenue cycle, third-party payor contracting, supply chain, and more. Prior to her role at Main Line Health, she spent nine years at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where she served as senior vice president and CFO for hospital operations. In that position, she oversaw financial operations for an acute care division with $4 billion in annual revenue. Her experience also includes financial leadership roles at Catholic Health East and a tenure in Big 4 accounting at PwC. Leigh Ehrlich holds a Bachelor's degree in Management with a concentration in accounting from East Stroudsburg University and an MBA from Lehigh University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP). She is also involved in community boards, including the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors and the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation Board of Governors.
Karrie Borgelt is the Senior Vice President, Development at Main Line Health, a role she assumed in November 2017. She is responsible for overseeing philanthropic support for the Main Line Health system's hospitals and serves on its senior executive council. With nearly two decades of experience in fundraising for healthcare and higher education, Borgelt previously held positions as chief development officer at Fox Chase Cancer Center and director of Major Gifts at the Abramson Cancer Center, Penn Medicine. Her background also includes leadership roles in alumni relations at Cornell and Drew Universities. Borgelt is an alumna of Hartwick College, holding a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, where she was also involved in collegiate athletics and later served on the college's alumni board and board of trustees. Throughout her career as a senior executive, she has been involved in campaigns that have raised significant funds, totaling over $370 million.
Elizabeth (Betty) Craig, DNP, RN, FACHE, is the Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Main Line Health, joining the system in August 2022. She previously worked at Main Line Health earlier in her career, spending 12 years at Lankenau Medical Center from 1999 to 2011. Prior to her current role at Main Line Health, Craig served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Pennsylvania Hospital, part of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. During her time there, she supported the hospital's Magnet redesignation in 2019 and co-led the COVID-19 Response Team. From 2011 to 2019, Craig was the Senior Vice President, Patient Services at Temple University Hospital, where she was instrumental in leading the hospital to its first Magnet Designation. Her responsibilities at Temple included Chief Nurse Executive duties with an expanded scope in various departments. Craig holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Thomas Jefferson University, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania (Nurse Practitioner, Health Care of Women), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University. Her areas of interest include safety, quality, diversity, equity, and employee engagement.
Rosangely Cruz-Rojas, DrPH, is the Vice President and Chief Diversity & Equity Officer at Main Line Health. She directs the system's diversity strategy, focusing on developing policies and initiatives to build cultural competence, foster diversity, and achieve equity. Dr. Cruz-Rojas has extensive experience in healthcare disparities, analytics, factors influencing health outcomes, quality, safety, and patient experience. Before her current role, she served as the System Director for Performance Measurement, Improvement & Analytics at Main Line Health, overseeing a team focused on process improvement, project management, and QI data analysis. She has worked for Main Line Health for over 15 years and was involved in the Disparities in Care workgroup for more than a decade, providing consultation on equity and creating the system's equity dashboard. Dr. Cruz-Rojas holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics from the University of Puerto Rico. She earned her doctoral degree from the Sociomedical Science program at Columbia University's School of Public Health. She completed a five-year pre-doctoral program in Psychiatric Epidemiology at Columbia and received awards for her dissertation research proposal and doctoral research on social inequalities in health.
Katie Galbraith, MBA, FACHE, is the President of Lankenau Medical Center at Main Line Health, a role she assumed in September 2022. She has over 25 years of progressive experience in hospital operations, strategy, marketing, and corporate communications within healthcare organizations. Prior to joining Main Line Health, Galbraith served as the president of Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, from 2014 to 2022. Her career at Duke University Health System, which she joined in 1996, included roles such as chief marketing and business development officer, chief hospital operations and business development officer, and vice president/COO. While at Duke Regional Hospital, she oversaw a significant construction project, a $102.4 million expansion of the Behavioral Health Center and Emergency Department. Galbraith holds a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and an MBA from Elon University. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Carolyn F. Gorman, MBA, CMPE, is the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Main Line Health, having joined in 2019. In this role, she is responsible for Strategy, Business Development, Marketing, Government Affairs, and Communications. With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, her background includes business development, operational management, service line strategy, and ambulatory services development. Prior to her position at Main Line Health, Gorman served as the Vice President of System Integration at Penn Medicine, where she managed system integration and strategic alliances. She also held roles as chief operating officer for the department of obstetrics and gynecology and chief administrative officer for women's services at Penn Medicine. Gorman holds a Bachelor's degree from Immaculata University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Penn State University. Yonathan Kebede, FACHE, is the Interim President of Paoli Hospital at Main Line Health. He began his tenure at Main Line Health in June 2021 as the Vice President of Operations at Lankenau Medical Center. With over 15 years in the healthcare industry, Kebede is dedicated to enhancing health outcomes and community well-being. His previous experience includes leadership roles at Premier Health in Dayton, Ohio. He is recognized for his success in driving operational excellence, strategic initiatives, and process improvements that have yielded significant cost savings and efficiencies. Kebede holds a Master's degree in Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences Management from The Ohio State University. He is an active member and has held leadership positions in the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association for Health Services Executives. Donald Klingen, MD, is the President of Main Line HealthCare. He joined Main Line Health in 2011 and has held roles including Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer, overseeing enterprise applications and clinical informatics. Dr. Klingen is dual board-certified in Family Medicine and Clinical Informatics and continues to see patients. His background includes serving as a family physician and Medical Director of Information Services at Crozer-Keystone Health System. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, and completed his residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center and a fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. He also holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Informatics from Oregon Health and Science University and is an adjunct lecturer at the Thomas Jefferson University School of Population Health.
JoAnn Magnatta is the Senior Vice President, Facilities Design and Construction/Real Estate at Main Line Health, having joined in 2001. She has over 25 years of experience in senior healthcare positions. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of Main Line Health's real estate portfolio, which includes over 7 million square feet. Her responsibilities also encompass the acquisition, disposition, development, and management of real estate operations, maintenance and engineering services, system security, and emergency preparedness. Before her tenure at Main Line Health, Magnatta held various facilities and real estate leadership roles in other healthcare organizations. She began her healthcare career in 1988 at the Medical College of Pennsylvania (MCP). She served as Vice President of Operations and Regional Vice President of Facilities at Allegheny Health System (which included MCP). She was also the Regional Vice President for Facilities/Real Estate at TENET HEALTHCARE CORPORATION and Corporate Vice President of Facilities/Real Estate at Continuum Health Partners. Magnatta holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Education from La Salle University and a Master of Arts degree in Education Administration from Villanova University. She is involved in professional organizations such as the International Facilities Management Association and Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW), and has served on Villanova University's College of Liberal Arts Advisory Board. She has also been actively involved with the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women initiative.
Luke Olenoski is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Main Line Health, joining in June 2020. He has nearly 20 years of experience in Information Technology leadership. In his role as CIO, he is responsible for the strategy, planning, and implementation of Information Technology and Cybersecurity across the Main Line Health system. Before his time at Main Line Health, Olenoski held executive leadership positions in the IT and Audit organizations at The Vanguard Group. There, he led global transformation programs focused on IT Operations and Cybersecurity. His career highlights a track record of aligning technology solutions with strategic business goals. Academically, Olenoski holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and an Executive M.B.A. from Villanova University, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma. Jim Paradis serves as the Chief Transformation Officer at Main Line Health. He is an experienced leader in healthcare with nearly four decades in the field. Paradis has held leadership positions at three of Main Line Health's four acute care hospitals, including serving as President of Paoli Hospital for 12 years. His roles within Main Line Health also include Vice President of Operations at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Vice President of Administration at both Riddle Hospital and Paoli Hospital. Before joining Main Line Health in 2003, Paradis held executive healthcare roles such as Chief Operating Officer at Graduate Hospital and Vice President at Hahnemann University Hospital. He holds a bachelor of science degree in agricultural economics from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. As CTO, he leads the Transformation Management Office, focusing on evolving the system's structures and processes for a sustainable operating model, business growth, collaboration, and innovation aligned with strategic goals.
Della C. Payne is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Main Line Health. In this role, she serves as the Chief Legal Officer, leading the legal department and overseeing Claims Management and Workers' Compensation departments. Before joining Main Line Health, Payne worked as a professional liability defense litigator in Philadelphia, where she represented healthcare providers, hospitals, and health systems. Prior to her legal career, she was a registered nurse with experience in critical care and nursing management. Payne holds a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Eastern College, and a Diploma in Nursing from the Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and nursing in Pennsylvania. She is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Health Law Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel. She initially joined Main Line Health in 1999 as Assistant General Counsel and was promoted to her current position in 2024.
Donna Phillips is a senior healthcare executive with more than 25 years of experience in non-profit healthcare management and growth. She is the President, Ambulatory, Post-Acute Care and Professional Services at Main Line Health, overseeing strategic planning and management for multiple healthcare centers, surgery centers, an imaging facility, medical office buildings, the physician network, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, HomeCare and Hospice, and professional services. Previously, she was President of Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital and the executive sponsor for Main Line Health's implementation of the Epic electronic medical record system. Phillips is also involved in community leadership, serving on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Greater Brandywine and having previously served on other notable boards.
Dr. George C. Prendergast is the President and CEO of the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR) at Main Line Health, a position he has held since December 2004. He is also a Professor in the Department of Pathology, Anatomy and Cell Biology at the Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, where he has been since 2006, and serves as Co-director of the Program in Cell Biology and Signaling at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. Dr. Prendergast's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, a master's degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University, and a PhD in molecular biology from Princeton University. He conducted postdoctoral research as an American Cancer Society fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at NYU Medical Center. His career prior to leading LIMR includes roles in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry. He was an assistant and later associate professor at The Wistar Institute, where he was recognized as a Pew Scholar in the Biomedical Sciences. He also served as a senior director at DuPont Pharmaceuticals Company. Dr. Prendergast is an internationally recognized biomedical scientist with expertise in cancer biology, immunology, and targeted drug discovery. His research focuses on cancer pathobiology and immunology, with a particular interest in disease modifier genes and developing new therapeutic strategies. His work has contributed to the discovery and study of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, and he has pioneered research into inhibiting the enzyme IDO1 as a potential cancer immunotherapy. He has authored numerous publications and holds several patents. From 2010 to 2017, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of Cancer Research, a highly cited journal in the field. At LIMR, he has developed an "acapreneurial" model to integrate research with product development and entrepreneurialism to accelerate the translation of discoveries to clinical applications. He was named The Havens Chair for Biomedical Research in 2017.
John Schwarz is the President of Bryn Mawr Hospital at Main Line Health. He has over 20 years of experience as a healthcare executive. Schwarz joined Main Line Health in 2013 as the Vice President of Administration for Lankenau Medical Center, where he served for seven years before becoming President of Bryn Mawr Hospital. In his role as President, he is responsible for leadership and operational oversight at the hospital and collaborates with other leaders across Main Line Health on strategic initiatives. Before joining Main Line Health, Schwarz was an executive leader at Cooper Hospital in New Jersey, where he managed a significant campus expansion and led operations and strategy for a large academic orthopedic practice. He also held senior leadership positions at Tenet Healthcare prior to his time at Cooper Hospital. Schwarz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Georgetown University and a Master's in Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also has certifications including a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Greenbelt from Villanova University and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). Additionally, he is involved in community and civic activities, serving on boards for organizations such as the Broad Street Ministry and the Fighting Back Scholarship Program. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Wharton Healthcare Alumni Association.
Jonathan Stallkamp, MD, is the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Main Line Health, a position he has held since December 2021, serving on an interim basis since July 2020. He joined Main Line Health in 2005 as an academic hospitalist at Lankenau Medical Center and has since practiced at all four of Main Line Health's acute care campuses. Dr. Stallkamp has held numerous leadership roles within the health system, including Director of the Academic Hospitalist program, System Director for Hospital Medicine, Bylaws Chairman, Network Medical Director for Main Line HealthCare, and Vice President of Medical Affairs for Riddle Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, and Lankenau Medical Center. He played a key role in leading Main Line Health's COVID-19 response, including developing and deploying a vaccine distribution strategy. Before joining Main Line Health, Dr. Stallkamp worked as an internist for the Indian Health Service in Bethel, Alaska, and in private practice in Wayne, Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree from Yale University, obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University), and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern. He is board certified in internal medicine and continues to see patients as a hospitalist. His clinical interests include physician leadership, hospitalist medicine, general internal medicine, informatics in medicine, and quality improvement.
