Kathy Bressler

Chief Operating Officer, Marshfield Clinic Health System

Kathy Bressler is the Chief Operating Officer at Marshfield Clinic Health System. She has an extensive background in healthcare administration and nursing, with over 42 years of experience in the field. Prior to her role at Marshfield Clinic Health System, where she started in July 2022, Bressler held positions at CHI Health and CHI Franciscan Health, including SVP COO/CNO and COO/CNO-President of St. Clare Hospital. She began her career as a nurse manager at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma in 1990. Bressler holds a Master of Nursing degree with a concentration in Community and Leadership from the University of Washington Tacoma. She is recognized for her skills in strategic planning, relationship building, and fiscal responsibility, with a track record of developing standard operating procedures and managing complex healthcare operations. Her experience also includes managing various services such as emergency services, medical-surgical services, ambulatory care, burn treatment, and comprehensive orthopedic and gastrointestinal services.

Melissa Breen

Executive Vice President of System Transformation and Chief of Staff, Marshfield Clinic Healthcare System

Brings together multiple administrative groups to operationally and strategically create an environment that enables Marshfield Clinic Healthcare System to transform healthcare for Wisconsin. Helped transform the Marshfield Clinic from a multi-specialty clinic to a healthcare system with 11 hospitals. Led the development of the first System HEDI Office. Coordinates and implements leadership prerogatives across a multi-faceted organization. Oversees the integration of the system's external affairs function. Has 25 years of healthcare experience and has been with Marshfield Clinic since 2016. Prior to joining Marshfield Clinic, she was the Vice President of Membership and Certification of the Medical Group Management Association. Melissa is Fellow of the Carol Emmott Foundation and a member of The Equity Collaborative.
