Leaders from SolutionHealth, Southern New Hampshire Health and Elliot Health System gathered on April 23, 2025, to address community concerns regarding the proposed disaffiliation of Southern New Hampshire Health, Elliot Health System, and Home Health and Hospice Care from SolutionHealth [19]. Formed in 2018, SolutionHealth was designed to unite these healthcare organizations into a regional health system [19]. However, differences in culture and goals led Elliot and Southern New Hampshire Health to reconsider the alliance [19]. Elliot seeks a broad network of partnerships for regional referrals, while Southern New Hampshire aims to strengthen its connection with Mass General Hospital (MGH) due to its proximity to the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border [19]. Southern New Hampshire Health's CEO, Colin McHugh, noted the singular relationship with MGH, while Elliot has a more pluralistic approach to academic affiliations [19].
