Scott Leighty has dedicated his career in health care to orchestrating visionary and transformational change in nationally recognized health systems on behalf of patients and their families. Sheilah O'Halloran, Esq., serves as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Atlantic Health System, where she oversees legal services, risk management, and claims management, and acts as Corporate Secretary. She has been with Atlantic Health System since its inception in 1996, holding roles including Vice President, Legal Affairs, and Assistant General Counsel. Before her time at Atlantic Health System, which she officially joined in 2010, Ms. O'Halloran was a partner and chair of the Health Law Practice Group at Schenck, Price, Smith & King, where she led the firm's healthcare practice. Her legal expertise includes providing corporate, regulatory, litigation, and labor and employment services to healthcare entities in New Jersey. Academically, Ms. O'Halloran holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from Montclair State University and a Master's degree in Translation from the University of Montreal, where she also taught. Steven J. Sheris, MD, FACC, FACP, is the Executive Vice President, Chief Physician Executive for Atlantic Health System and President, Atlantic Medical Group. Atlantic Medical Group includes over 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers. Before his current role, Dr. Sheris was the lead cardiologist at Associates in Cardiovascular Disease, an Atlantic Medical Group practice, starting in 2001. Prior to his private practice, he served as a physician in the United States Navy for thirteen years, achieving the rank of Commander. Dr. Sheris completed his Internal Medicine residency as Chief Medical Resident at the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) in Bethesda, Maryland. He also completed a Cardiology fellowship at NNMC and received advanced cardiac ultrasound training at Georgetown University Medical Center. He is a graduate of UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School and Rutgers College. Dr. Sheris is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Nuclear Cardiology. He is affiliated with Overlook and Morristown Medical Centers, and was Chief of Cardiology at Overlook from 2008 to 2014. He also served as Co-Chair of Atlantic Medical Group from 2014 to 2015. Terence French is the Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Atlantic Health System.
