Prior to being named President of Steward Health Care Network, Dr. Girard served as Vice President of Specialty Care and Vice President of Network Imaging Services for Caritas Christi Health Care Network. He is an active member of the American College of Health Care Executives and the American College of Physician Executives. He also holds an M.B.A. from Salem State College Graduate School of Business.
Recently acted as interim President of Carney Hospital. Previously she served as the Senior Vice President for Mission at Caritas Christi Health Care. Prior to joining Caritas Christi, Sr. Marie was the Director of the Franciscan Adult School at St. Anthony Shrine in Boston. She is the co-founder of the National Catholic AIDS Network and served as the Director of Seton Manor, a residential facility for people living with HIV. Started her career in the accounting department of Steward's St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River. She holds a master's degree from Providence College.

David Colarusso is the Chief Information Officer at Steward Health Care. He has over 25 years of experience in health IT and joined Steward in 2012, serving as deputy CIO before becoming the lead. At Steward, he was responsible for standardizing the EHR platform and overseeing acquisitions and onboarding of new hospitals. He has 17 years of experience working for EHR vendors. Prior to his work in health IT, David Colarusso had a diverse background. He taught high school physics and astronomy for six years and co-founded a software business. He is also an attorney and worked as a public defender. Additionally, he is a data scientist and has been involved in legal innovation and technology, directing the Legal Innovation & Technology Lab at Suffolk University Law School. He holds a BA from Cornell University and an MEd from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a JD from Boston University Law School.
