Steven J. Corwin, MD, is president/CEO of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation's largest, most comprehensive healthcare systems. [3, 10] Under his leadership, NewYork-Presbyterian has nearly doubled in size and now comprises more than 47,000 employees and affiliated physicians, providing world-class care at 10 hospitals, and 200 primary and specialty care clinics and medical practices across Greater New York. [3] He led the way in establishing the NewYork-Presbyterian Regional Hospital Network and NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups. Brian Donley was named executive vice president and chief operating officer at NewYork-Presbyterian, effective January 9, 2023. [17] He joined from Cleveland Clinic, where he most recently served as chief executive officer of Cleveland Clinic London. [17] Dr. Donley directs the strategy and operations of NewYork-Presbyterian and is responsible for achieving the health care system's operating targets and implementing its patient-centered strategic vision and culture. Dr. Peter M. Fleischut is Senior Vice President and Chief Information and Transformation Officer at NewYork-Presbyterian. [17, 39] In this role, he oversees the management of the Epic implementation, innovation, artificial intelligence, telemedicine, and pharmacy. [2] He is also responsible for the development of the NYP OnDemand suite of digital health services. Michael P. Breslin, CPA, is Group Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer for NewYork-Presbyterian. Mary Beth Claus is Group Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel for NewYork-Presbyterian. [14, 18] In this role, she is responsible for developing the legal and corporate strategies for the enterprise, and managing corporate, tax, real estate, labor and employment, corporate governance, antitrust and risk management issues. [14, 18] She joined NYP in 2019 with over 30 years of legal health care experience. [14, 18] Prior to NYP, she served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Indiana University Health and was Deputy Chief Legal Officer for Cleveland Clinic. [14, 18, 9]
Kerry Sayres DeWitt is Chief of Staff to the President & Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Steven J. Corwin, and Senior Vice President of Communications & External Relations for NewYork-Presbyterian. [3, 12] In this role, she oversees government relations, public affairs, marketing, internal communications, community relations and grants. [3] A member of NewYork-Presbyterian's senior leadership team since 2011, she previously spent fifteen years at EmblemHealth. [3]
Wilhelmina M. Manzano, MA, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, is the Group Senior Vice President, Chief Nursing Executive, and Chief Operating Officer for Perioperative Services at NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a Master of Arts in Nursing Administration from New York University. Manzano has held various leadership positions at NewYork-Presbyterian since joining in 1998, including Chief Nursing Officer, Senior Vice President, Chief Quality Officer, Vice President for Patient Care Services at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia, and Chief Operating Officer for NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital. Prior to her time at NewYork-Presbyterian, she held leadership roles at other New York-area hospitals such as The Mount Sinai Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center. A recognized leader in nursing, Manzano is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, the Johnson & Johnson Wharton Program for Nurse Executives, and the New York Academy of Medicine. She holds a Nursing Executive, Advanced National Board Certification (NEA-BC). Her work at NewYork-Presbyterian has included influencing nursing practice across multiple hospitals, impacting thousands of nurses through the development of programs like a Nurse Residency Program and Nurse Leadership Academy. She has also been involved in overseeing quality, patient safety, infection prevention and control, and regulatory compliance. Manzano has served on the board of the American Nurses Foundation, including as President and Vice President. She was recognized as one of Crain's New York Notable Women in Healthcare in 2019 and listed as one of the 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives by Modern Healthcare in 2021.
MariLou Prado-Inzerillo, DNP, RN, NEA-BC is the Vice President, Nursing Operations at NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System. In this role, she has been involved in various initiatives including those focused on transformational leadership, nurse retention and wellbeing, and academic-practice partnerships. She is also listed as faculty for the Nursing Leadership Academy at NewYork-Presbyterian and is a fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. Dr. Prado-Inzerillo is a 2017 graduate of a DNP program and has coordinated cohorts of DNP students.
