Jameson Smith

Chief Executive Officer

Jameson (Jamie) Smith was announced as the new CEO on January 9, 2024, and started on March 11, 2024, replacing retiring CEO Jon Ness. [6, 10] Smith previously served as president of Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, part of Intermountain Health. [6] In that role, he also served as the CEO of Saint Joseph's Joint Operating Agreement with National Jewish Health. [6] He is described as a mission-driven, seasoned health care executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in various health care systems. [6] His career shows a commitment to improving patient experience and clinical quality, valuing and empowering caregivers, and serving the community. [6] Under his leadership, Saint Joseph Hospital saw significant achievements in these areas, including two-time ANCC Magnet recognition. [6]
