Pankaj Agrawal, MD, is the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at SGMC Health. He joined SGMC Health in March 2017 as the hospitalist program director. In this role, he led process and quality improvement programs and medical staff committees. As CMO, he is responsible for system-wide medical staff services and graduate medical education programs. Dr. Agrawal received his medical degree from Dr. S.N. Medical College in Jodhpur, India, in 2006. He then spent approximately two years conducting research at UT Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He completed his Family Medicine Residency training at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha in 2013. Dr. Agrawal is board-certified in Family Practice. He is affiliated with SGMC Health-Main and specializes in Family Medicine and Hospital Medicine. He has over 15 years of experience in the medical field. Prior to his role as CMO, he served as SGMC's hospitalist program director since 2016. He oversees system-wide medical staff services and graduate medical education programs, working with the executive team and medical staff to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
