Tanner Health System's Willowbrooke at Tanner has launched a new service in Villa Rica: Willowbrooke Urgent Care for Mental Health and Substance Use. This walk-in clinic is the first of its kind in the area and is designed to provide immediate, compassionate support for individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, who are experiencing urgent mental health and substance use challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-partum issues, and substance use disorders. The urgent care is located at 20 Herrell Road, Suite 1, Villa Rica, Georgia. The goal of this service is to ensure accessible and timely mental healthcare, offering an alternative to emergency rooms for non-life-threatening situations. Patients receive an assessment upon arrival to help create a personalized treatment plan. It is emphasized that this service is not for medical emergencies, which require calling 911 or visiting a hospital emergency department. For immediate help with suicidal thoughts, individuals should call 988. The service is staffed by a team of highly trained and licensed mental health professionals and is open seven days a week.
