Shae Griffin, who works on Seven-East, has been named Nurse of the Year at Southeast Health [15]. Stacy Perry, Seven-East Nurse Manager, noted Shae's dedication to her patients and her willingness to help [15]. Shae was one of five finalists for the Top Nurse recognition, with all finalists having been monthly Daisy Award winners throughout the year [15]. The other finalists were Bobbi Newman, Crystal Ortiz, Hannah Yost, and Natali Fields [15].

Two Dothan High School students, Mabelin Sykes and Avery Kenyon, have each received $4,000 Michael Miller Memorial Scholarships from the Southeast Health Foundation [5]. Both students are TeenAge Volunteers (TAVs) and are set to graduate on May 15 [5]. Mabelin was involved in the health sciences program at Dothan Tech, while Avery participated in the biomedical science program [5]. Furthermore, Abigail Nwaosu, a Wallace Community College student and 2024 DHS graduate who also participated in the health science program at Dothan Tech, received a scholarship from Southeast Health Foundation [5]. Ryan Richards, CTE Administrator for Dothan City Schools at Dothan Tech, expressed gratitude for Southeast Health's continued support in providing students with resources for further education in healthcare [5]. Dothan City Schools also acknowledges the financial support from Southeast Health which helps to procure necessary equipment and supplies, and also covers travel expenses for students participating in various competitions [5]. The Michael Miller Memorial Scholarship remembers Michael Miller, who was known for his dedication to Southeast Health and the community [5].
