Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

St James Hospital, as an affiliate of UR Medicine, utilizes the MyChart patient portal. This patient portal is integrated with the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system, which UR Medicine refers to as eRecord. St. James Hospital transitioned to the Epic EHR system on March 5. Through the MyChart portal, patients can access various services online, including scheduling appointments, viewing test results, utilizing eCheck-in, and reading notes from their healthcare providers. Patients can also access and share medical imaging records through MyChart via a partnership with PocketHealth.
