About the Practice

TriWest Healthcare Alliance is a private company founded in 1996 with the sole mission to serve the health care needs of the nation's military and Veteran communities. [2, 7, 8] They partner with the U.S. Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide access to high-quality, community-based health care through their network of dedicated community providers. [1, 2, 4, 8] TriWest administers the VA Community Care Network (CCN) in Regions 4 and 5 and is the regional contractor for the TRICARE West Region as of January 1, 2025. [2, 3, 8, 14] Their services include building and maintaining a provider network, processing and paying health care claims, and providing customer service. [2, 7]
