FollowMyHealth is a third-party patient engagement platform that can integrate with various electronic health record (EHR) systems. Northwell Health has announced that it is transitioning to **Epic** as its new integrated EHR system, with the implementation beginning in phases in 2025. Epic is a major EHR vendor, and its patient portal is branded as **MyChart**. While FollowMyHealth is currently in use, the transition to Epic suggests that MyChart will likely become the primary patient portal for Northwell Health facilities, including Syosset Hospital, as the Epic system is rolled out across the network.
