Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

Stony Brook Emergency Physicians, as part of Stony Brook Medicine, utilizes the "My HealtheLife Patient Portal" for patient access to their health information. This patient portal is powered by Cerner Health. The My HealtheLife portal allows patients of Stony Brook University Hospital and its ambulatory care sites, including the Emergency Department, to view health records, medical history details, and send messages to their doctors. This direct connection between the My HealtheLife portal and Cerner Health indicates that Stony Brook Emergency Physicians is using an EHR system provided by Cerner.
