This transition occurred as the Albany Med Health System implemented a single, unified electronic medical record system across its hospitals and outpatient locations, including Saratoga Hospital, with which Saratoga Spine Care is integrated. The electronic health record (EHR) vendor used by the Albany Med Health System, and therefore by Saratoga Spine Care, is Epic. The MyChart portal is the patient-facing component of the Epic EHR system, allowing patients to manage appointments, access medical records, view test results, and communicate with their healthcare providers. This integrated system replaced previous disparate EHR platforms used within the health system.
