Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

Phoenix Children's Hospital utilizes a platform called the "Phoenix Children's Patient Portal" for parents and patients to manage their health information online. Based on the information gathered, Phoenix Children's Hospital has partnered with Altera Digital Health and uses their Sunrise electronic health record (EHR) system. While the search results clearly identify the patient portal by the name "Phoenix Children's Patient Portal", it is highly probable that this patient portal is the offering provided by Altera Digital Health designed to integrate with or be a part of their Sunrise EHR system, similar to how Epic's patient portal is branded as MyChart. Although an older article mentioned integration with an Allscripts EMR in 2018, a more recent result highlights the partnership with Altera Digital Health and the use of the Sunrise EHR.
