NYU's Student Health Center (SHC) is a campus resource offering universal, appointment-based and urgent same-day medical and counseling services at no or very reduced cost to all matriculated students, regardless of insurance. The SHC provides a wide range of services including primary and specialty medical care (such as GYN health, allergy, optometry, and dermatology), counseling and wellness services, gender-affirming care, and has an on-site pharmacy. They offer 24/7 support for mental and physical health and are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
