Primary Electronic Health Record System
Weill Cornell Medicine Neurological Surgery uses a patient portal called "Weill Cornell Connect," also referred to simply as "Connect". This patient portal is a shared platform for Weill Cornell Medicine, NewYork-Presbyterian, and Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The "Connect" patient portal is tied to the Epic electronic medical record (EHR) system. Weill Cornell Medicine, along with Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian, fully implemented the Epic EHR system and the Connect patient portal on February 1, 2020. This integrated system allows patients to access their medical records, manage appointments, view test results, and communicate with their healthcare providers through a single portal.
