Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

The Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health, which is a part of NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine, utilizes the Connect patient portal. This patient portal is powered by the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. NewYork-Presbyterian, Weill Cornell Medicine, and Columbia University Irving Medical Center transitioned to a unified Epic EHR system on February 1, 2020. The Connect portal provides patients with secure online access to their medical records, allowing them to manage appointments, view test results, communicate with their care team, and more. This integrated system ensures that patient information is accessible across the different facilities within the NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine network.
