MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care provides compassionate, culturally sensitive support for patients and families in the New York Metro Area. Hospice care focuses on comfort, dignity, and symptom management for those with advanced illness and a prognosis of six months or less who have stopped curative treatment, including specialized pediatric hospice allowing concurrent curative treatment. Palliative care is available at any stage of a serious or chronic illness, even while seeking a cure, aiming to alleviate distressing symptoms, enhance quality of life, and support physical and emotional well-being. They also offer bereavement support for families.
