Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

Patients of the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson who receive care through its partnership with Banner Health utilize the Banner Health Patient Account, formerly known as the MyBanner patient portal. This portal allows patients to access their medical records, schedule appointments, message their doctors, and request prescription renewals. The electronic health record (EHR) system primarily used by Banner Health, and therefore supporting the patient portal for care received at Banner facilities affiliated with the College of Medicine, is Cerner. Banner Health also utilizes eClinicalWorks for some practices within the Banner Health Network. Prior to switching to Cerner in 2018, Banner Health's Tucson facilities had used Epic.
