Primary Electronic Health Record System
Malta Med Emergent Care, part of the Albany Med Health System, utilizes the MyChart patient portal. MyChart is the patient portal commonly associated with the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. The Albany Med Health System has been implementing and transitioning to the Epic EHR system across its locations, including Saratoga Hospital, with which Malta Med Emergent Care is affiliated. This transition to Epic, which includes the MyChart portal, aimed to unify patient records and streamline healthcare services across the system. The Epic system and MyChart portal were fully integrated across the Albany Med Health System hospitals and outpatient locations in November 2024.
