Maimonides Children's Hospital is the only dedicated children's hospital in Brooklyn, providing comprehensive, family-centered care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Primary Electronic Health Record System
Maimonides Childrens Hospital, as part of Maimonides Medical Center (maimonidesmed.org), uses the FollowMyHealth® patient portal. This portal allows patients to access their personal medical records from Maimonides and other providers, manage appointments, and communicate with their healthcare team. FollowMyHealth is a patient engagement platform that is associated with Veradigm, formerly known as Allscripts. While FollowMyHealth can integrate with various electronic health record (EHR) systems, Maimonides Medical Center has been identified as a user of Allscripts solutions. According to information from 2010, Maimonides implemented an Allscripts Care Management solution. More recent information from 2016 indicates their use of Allscripts Care Management and CarePort, an entity acquired by Allscripts. Additionally, a technology company lists Maimonides Medical Center as a client utilizing Allscripts Sunrise or TouchWorks EHR systems. Although an older system called "Maimonides Access Clinical System (MACS)" was mentioned in 2009, the more current evidence strongly suggests that Maimonides Medical Center utilizes an Allscripts/Veradigm EHR system that integrates with their FollowMyHealth patient portal.
