St. George Regional Hospital, part of Intermountain Health, is a 284-bed hospital and the major medical referral center for northwestern Arizona, southeastern Nevada, and southern Utah. [3, 4] It is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and serves as a Level II Trauma center. [3, 4, 9] The hospital offers a wide range of services including heart, newborn intensive care, neurosciences, trauma, and cancer care, as well as cardiovascular, emergency, oncology, orthopedic, radiology, rehabilitation, special care (ICU, NICU), psychiatric, surgical, and wound care services. Primary Electronic Health Record System
Saint George Regional Hospital, part of Intermountain Health, currently uses a patient portal branded as **My Health+** for patients in Utah and Idaho. Intermountain Health is in the process of transitioning its electronic health record (EHR) system across its facilities to Epic. This enterprise-wide implementation is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Prior to this transition, Intermountain Health's Utah facilities, including Saint George Regional Hospital, have been using a Cerner EHR system. The contract for the Cerner system in Utah was set to end in November (of 2023). While MyChart is the patient portal associated with Epic and is already used by Intermountain Health facilities in some regions (Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and Kansas), My Health+ is the current portal for Utah and Idaho. It is likely that My Health+ is currently connected to the Cerner EHR system used in Utah. Upon the completion of the Epic implementation, it is anticipated that the patient portal for Utah and Idaho facilities, including Saint George Regional Hospital, will transition to MyChart to align with the new Epic EHR system.
