Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

Based on the search results, the Indian Health Service (IHS), of which Peach Springs Health Center is a part, has historically used an EHR system called the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS). However, the IHS is in the process of modernizing its EHR system and is transitioning to a new cloud-based enterprise EHR system from Oracle Health (formerly Oracle Cerner). This new system is called PATH EHR (Patient at the Heart). Pilot rollouts of the Oracle Health system were scheduled to begin in 2025 at other IHS sites. The patient portal used by the Indian Health Service is called the Indian Health Service Personal Health Record (PHR), and it allows patients within the IHS system to access their health information. While the PHR is the patient-facing portal, the underlying EHR system that contains the patient data is transitioning from the legacy RPMS to the new Oracle Health system. Therefore, Peach Springs Health Center uses the Indian Health Service Personal Health Record (PHR) as its patient portal. The underlying EHR system is the Indian Health Service's system, which is in the process of transitioning from the legacy RPMS to the new Oracle Health (PATH EHR) system.Based on the previous steps, I have identified that Peach Springs Health Center is part of the Indian Health Service (IHS) and uses the "Indian Health Service Personal Health Record (PHR)" as its patient portal. I have also found that the IHS is transitioning from its legacy EHR system (RPMS) to a new Oracle Health (PATH EHR) system. The initial goal was to find the patient portal vendor/branding/name and tie that to the EHR vendor. I have found the patient portal name (Indian Health Service Personal Health Record - PHR) and the current and future EHR vendors for IHS (RPMS and Oracle Health, respectively). Therefore, I have sufficient information to answer the user's request.
