Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC), which is part of the Indian Health Service (IHS), uses a patient portal known as the Personal Health Record (PHR). This patient portal allows individuals to access their health records online, track appointments, medications, and test results, and communicate securely with their healthcare providers. The Electronic Health Record (EHR) system that the Personal Health Record (PHR) is connected to at PIMC is the Resource and Patient Management System Electronic Health Record (RPMS-EHR). PIMC successfully implemented the RPMS-EHR in its Ambulatory Care departments.
