Primary Electronic Health Record System
Hudson Dermatology utilizes a patient portal and a mobile application called "Appatient" for patient engagement and telehealth services. This patient portal and the "Appatient" app are integrated with Modernizing Medicine's cloud-based EHR system, known as EMA®. The patient portal can be accessed directly via the URL hudsondermatology.com/portal, and the specific URL hudsondermatology.ema.md is also provided for accessing the portal. The "Appatient" app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, and it offers features such as viewing appointments, requesting prescription refills, messaging staff, and accessing medical records. Telehealth appointments with Hudson Dermatology providers can be joined through either the patient portal on a computer or laptop, or via the "Appatient" mobile app. Based on the integration of their patient portal and the "Appatient" app with EMA®, the EHR system used by Hudson Dermatology is Modernizing Medicine's EMA®.
