Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

USA MEDDAC facilities, including Guthrie Army Health Clinic (guthrie.tricare.mil), are using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. This new secure patient portal provides access to the Military Health System health record. MHS GENESIS is the Department of Defense's new electronic health record (EHR) system. The MHS GENESIS Patient Portal replaces the legacy TRICARE Online Patient Portal. This transition means that military hospitals and clinics, such as Guthrie Army Health Clinic, are now utilizing MHS GENESIS for their electronic health records and patient portal services. Through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal, patients can access their health data, book appointments, request prescription refills, view clinical notes and test results, and exchange secure messages with their healthcare team.
