Electronic Health Record System

Epic

Primary Electronic Health Record System

Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

Based on the available information, it is highly probable that Family Service League Inc. (fsl-li.org) will be using Epic as their electronic health record (EHR) system and MyChart as their patient portal, aligning with their affiliation with Northwell Health. Family Service League has entered into an affiliation agreement with Northwell Health. Northwell Health is in the process of implementing Epic as their comprehensive EHR system across their facilities, with a phased rollout commencing in 2025.,,,,. This move aims to unify patient records and streamline care coordination across the Northwell Health network.,. While Northwell Health currently utilizes FollowMyHealth for some patient portal services, the transition to Epic typically includes the adoption of Epic's integrated patient portal, known as MyChart.,,. Supporting this, an AARP event about MyChart, described as an "electronic health-record portal," was held at Family Service League, suggesting its relevance to FSL's patients, likely due to the forthcoming integration with Northwell Health's systems.. Although there is no direct public statement from Family Service League explicitly confirming their use of Epic or MyChart, the strong affiliation with Northwell Health and Northwell's clear direction towards implementing Epic and leveraging MyChart for patient access strongly indicate that Family Service League will be transitioning to or utilizing these systems as part of their collaboration to provide more integrated care.,. A job posting for Family Service League mentions completing clinical documentation in an "electronic medical record" in accordance with regulatory requirements, confirming the use of an EHR system, although the specific vendor was not named..
