Research Analysis
Methodology & Findings

Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, as part of Northwell Health, currently utilizes FollowMyHealth as its patient portal. This portal allows patients to manage their personal health records online, review test results, medications, and communicate with their physicians. Northwell Health is in the process of implementing Epic as its new electronic health record (EHR) system, with the rollout beginning in 2025. This transition aims to unify patient records across all of Northwell Health's facilities. While FollowMyHealth is the current patient portal, Epic's integrated patient portal is typically branded as MyChart. The implementation of Epic suggests a future shift towards using MyChart as the primary patient portal for Northwell Health and its ΠšΡ€Π°ΠΉΠ½ΠΈΡ…, including the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research.
