Primary Electronic Health Record System
Englewood Health utilizes MyChart as its patient portal, which provides patients with secure online access to their health information, including managing appointments, viewing test results, communicating with their doctor's office, requesting prescription refills, and paying bills. This patient portal is connected to their electronic health record (EHR) system. Englewood Health uses the Epic EHR system. Englewood Hospital and Medical Center selected Epic EHR in 2016. The Epic system provides a single electronic health record for patients across the Englewood Health network, including the hospital, physician practices, and urgent care centers, facilitating coordinated care. The use of MyChart is consistent with Epic as MyChart is the patient portal commonly associated with the Epic EHR system.
