Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) is a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and a regional center for burn care, behavioral health services, transplantation, medical oncology, head and neck cancer care, and rehabilitation. [8, 10, 11, 13, 16, 17]. It also offers comprehensive weight management, kidney and pancreas transplants, primary care, and over 30 outpatient specialty care services, providing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care. [7, 9, 10]. ECMC is a teaching hospital for the University at Buffalo and is designated as Western New York's regional HIV/AIDS treatment center. [11, 12, 13].

Primary Electronic Health Record System
Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) utilizes the Patient Portal (FollowMyHealth) for its patients. FollowMyHealth is a patient engagement platform that was historically an Allscripts product and is now known as Veradigm FollowMyHealth. ECMC uses Meditech as its inpatient electronic health record (EHR) system and Allscripts for its outpatient clinics. Given that FollowMyHealth is an Allscripts product and ECMC uses Allscripts for outpatient care, it is likely that the FollowMyHealth patient portal is integrated with ECMC's Allscripts outpatient EHR system. FollowMyHealth is designed to integrate with various EHR systems.
