Primary Electronic Health Record System
Elizabethtown Community Hospital (ECH), part of the UVM Health Network, utilizes MyChart as its patient portal. This transition to MyChart was part of a network-wide implementation of the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. The UVM Health Network completed the implementation of the Epic EHR across its facilities, including ECH, to provide a unified system for patient care and information access. MyChart serves as the online portal connected to this Epic system, offering patients secure access to their medical records, the ability to request appointments and prescription renewals, view test results, and communicate with their healthcare team. This integration allows for a more connected and seamless healthcare experience for patients across the network. ECH transitioned to MyChart on April 2, 2022, as part of the third phase of the UVM Health Network's Epic implementation.
