The University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) is a private, not-for-profit hospital in Plattsburgh, NY, part of a six-hospital network serving northern New York and Vermont. Primary Electronic Health Record System
Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) utilizes two patient portals: MyChart and the Hixny Patient Portal. MyChart is the primary patient portal and is part of the UVM Health Network, to which CVPH belongs. The UVM Health Network implemented Epic, and MyChart is the patient portal associated with this EHR system. CVPH transitioned to using MyChart for hospital patient access. The Hixny Patient Portal is still accessible for patients who had existing accounts, but MyChart appears to be the go-to portal for current and future health information. Therefore, CVPH primarily uses MyChart, which is the patient portal for the Epic electronic health record system used by the UVM Health Network.
