Primary Electronic Health Record System
Columbia Memorial Bone & Joint, as part of Columbia Memorial Health, is currently undergoing a transition in its electronic health record (EHR) system. The health system is moving to a unified Epic system. This transition for Columbia Memorial Health was scheduled to occur in September 2024, later specified as early November 2024. Prior to the implementation of Epic, Columbia Memorial Health utilized a patient portal branded as myCMH. This myCMH portal is associated with the HealtheLife platform, which is a patient portal solution provided by Cerner. With the implementation of the Epic EHR, the new patient portal for Columbia Memorial Health and its ΠΠ΅Π½Ρ ΠΈ Π²ΡΠ΅ΠΌΡ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΌΠ΅ΡΠΎΠΏΡΠΈΡΡΠΈΠΉ will be MyChart. MyChart is the patient portal specifically used with the Epic EHR system. Therefore, Columbia Memorial Bone & Joint is transitioning from using a Cerner EHR with the myCMH (HealtheLife) patient portal to using the Epic EHR with the MyChart patient portal. As of November 2, 2024, patients who previously used the Healow portal (associated with the former system) were directed to create a new account in MyChart.
