About the Practice

Central Arizona Heart Specialists (CAZHS) was established in 1977 in Chandler, Arizona, as the first Cardiology practice in the Chandler area. CAZHS was influential in the development and growth of both general cardiology and interventional cardiology programs in the Chandler area, including organizing the Cardiovascular Department at Chandler and Mercy Gilbert hospitals and starting interventional cardiology and open heart surgery programs. Their specialties include Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Valvular Diseases, Rhythm Disorders, Cardiac Risk Management, Hypertension, and Hyperlipidemia Management.
