Primary Electronic Health Record System
Cayuga Center for Sports Medicine and Athletic Performance, which is part of Cayuga Health, is transitioning to using the MyChart patient portal. This transition is associated with Cayuga Health upgrading to Epic as their new electronic health record (EHR) system. The change was planned to begin around March 22, 2025, and will replace previous patient portals used by Cayuga Health. MyChart is a patient portal commonly used with the Epic EHR system, offering features such as scheduling appointments, communicating with providers, viewing medical records, and paying bills. While some older patient portals were in use, the move to Epic means MyChart is the current and future patient portal for Cayuga Health facilities, including the Sports Medicine center.
