About the Practice

The University of Arizona Cancer Center is the only NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center headquartered in Arizona, dedicated to alleviating the burden of cancer, particularly in underserved populations. It serves as a regional resource and national model for overcoming cancer risks, improving treatments through transdisciplinary discoveries, training scientists and providers, and engaging communities. The center focuses on patient care, research, prevention, education, outreach, and training, providing multidisciplinary care. Specialties include women's cancers (breast, ovarian), men's cancers (prostate), gastrointestinal cancers (colon, pancreas, liver), lymphoma, and skin cancers, with a significant Cancer Prevention and Control Program.
