Primary Electronic Health Record System
Callen-Lorde Community Health Center is utilizing MyChart as their patient portal, which is integrated with the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. The health center has been transitioning to the comprehensive Epic EHR system to enhance patient experience, improve care coordination, and streamline services. MyChart serves as their new patient portal, allowing patients to manage contact information, message providers, pay bills, download medical records, and view lab results, among other features. The implementation of Epic also enables the use of features like Care Everywhere, which allows for the secure electronic exchange of patient medical information with other healthcare organizations using Epic.
