Anne Meisner

President and Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Meisner has been serving patients at CTCA for more than 20 years. Previously, she served as President and CEO of CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center (Midwestern) in suburban Chicago for six years. Growth in patient services and the highest patient loyalty scores in the nation are hallmarks of Ms. Meisner's tenure at CTCA. Under her leadership, Midwestern introduced numerous patient-centric programs in advanced radiation therapies, immunotherapies, cell therapies and Wisdom MedicineSM. She was the originator of the widely heralded Patient Empowered Care(r) model, wherein all services desired by cancer patients are delivered in one location. She also expanded Midwestern's stem cell and cell therapy program; expanded its surgical services and tripled its surgical space; and opened a Quality of Life clinic. Ms. Meisner, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, is a Masters Prepared Registered Nurse and former intensive care unit nurse. She is a member of many professional organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Anna Simelane

Director of Talent

Anna Simelane serves as the Director of Talent for the Southeastern Regional Medical Center, bringing an array of organizational development and the ability to create a highly-collaborative workplace culture. Prior to her role at CTCA, Anna spent fourteen years living and working in Johannesburg, South Africa as the Senior Organization Development Manager for Nedcor Bank. While there, she led the standardization of procedures, selected to train over 6,000 staff members in Six Sigma principles and project managed an initiative that resulted in $2.2 million in annual savings. Anna's success continues and as the Director of Talent she not only ensured that Southeastern was appropriately staffed for its Grand Opening in August 2012, but in addition led Southeastern to be recognized as one of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Top Workplaces in 2013. Anna also spearheaded the enterprise-wide initiative to create a standard Leadership Development Program for high-potential stakeholders and is an essential driver of CTCA Talent. Anna received both her undergraduate degree and her Master's of Public Administration from Portland State University. She is a member of the National Society for Human Resources Management and has been recognized as a "Going for the Gold" Bronze, Silver, and Gold winner for Process Culture and Service Level Agreements. Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time her husband of fourteen years, Pascal, and their four children, Keba, Malaika, Kumo and Khodi.
