Karen Pinsky, MD

Chief Executive Officer

Appointed CEO in April 2025. Previously served as interim CEO since July 2024 and was the hospital's chief medical officer for five years. Prior to that, she served for 15 years as the medical director of newborn and pediatric services at the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania Care Network with CCH and became the hospital's chief medical information officer in 2008. She expanded her role as chief quality and medical information officer in 2018. Dr. Pinsky earned her medical degree from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal and a graduate certificate in biomedical informatics from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Preventative Medicine in Clinical Informatics.
