William “Kevin” Decker

Chief Executive Officer

Kevin Decker accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer at Volunteer Hospital in Martin, TN in November 2020. [2] As CEO, he is responsible for all operations and overall management of Volunteer Hospital. [2] Decker has over 30 years of experience in health care, starting his leadership career as a Laboratory Director and holding positions such as Assistant Chief Executive Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and Vice President of Operations in other health care systems. [2] He holds a bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from Arkansas State University and a master's degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas. [2] He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). [2] Kevin Decker moved from Arkansas in late 2020 to accept the CEO position and has completed the University of Tennessee at Martin's WestStar Leadership Program. [5]
