Allan Klapper, MD

President

Prior to his current role, Dr. Klapper has over 20 years of operational leadership experience as a seasoned health care executive. [5] He is an obstetrician and gynecologist who previously served as chair of AHN's Women's & Children's Institute. [7] He was instrumental in helping to design the new Wexford hospital. [7]

Katie Farah, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Farah is a practicing gastroenterologist and therapeutic endoscopist with AHN's Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and serves as the department's chief quality officer. [10] She recently led a network-wide standardization of colorectal cancer screening and developed the health network’s annual 'Saturday Screening' program. [10] She earned her medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine and completed residency and fellowship at AHN's Allegheny General Hospital. [10] She has also served as associate program director of AHN's GI fellowship program and medical director of the McCandless Endoscopy Center. [10] She is a fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, an associate professor of medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, and certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology.
