Chief Executive Officer

Selected for the position of Chief Executive Officer in May 2019. Previously served as CEO of Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyoming, where he created a clinically integrated provider network, oversaw the addition of a medical office building, and improved patient satisfaction and employee engagement. Prior to that, he was CEO of Central Peninsula Hospital (CPH) in Soldotna for five years, leading an expansion, increasing revenues, and negotiating agreements. He also chaired the Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association and received awards from the American Hospital Association and Soldotna Chamber of Commerce. Smith started his healthcare administration career at South Peninsula Hospital as Chief Financial Officer from 1996-1998. He also served as CFO for Life Point Hospitals, Inc and Salt Lake Regional Medical Center. He spent his first ten years in healthcare with Hospital Corporation of America. Holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA from The University of Utah. [8]
